Laboratories
A suite of laboratories are well-stocked with apparatus, glassware and chemicals to meet curriculum requirements and be able to support individual project work of each student.
 

Information and Communication Technology
The school has an ICT lab to meet the curriculum needs for equipping every student with computer skills. The lab is managed by a technology specialist.
 

Library
A well resourced library enables the students to enrich and expand their horizons. The school library has a vast and diverse collection of books for children at all levels.
 

Sports & Games
Sports and games facilities include a large playing ground for cricket and football, courts for badminton, basketball, squash, tennis and volleyball, a multi-lane running track for athletics training, Games Halls for table tennis, billiards, chess, and martial arts, and an Olympic-standard swimming pool.
 

Activity Centre
There is a suite of rooms for music and dance, equipped with superior sound and light systems. Art Studios have been created for students to draw, paint and pursue other artistic interests.
 

Safety & Security 
A reliable security system with professional security personnel, a completely fenced campus, 24x7 guard duty and watch dogs are in place to safeguard sprawling campus. Softener Plant and Reverse Osmosis Plants helps in providing safe and non contaminated water to the residents on campus. The residents enjoy a 24 hour uninterrupted power supply.

Meals
100% vegetarian meals are provided to students. The meals and refreshments are carefully planned to provide adequate nutrition and nourishment to students. Students are served with a bewildering assortment of dishes – Pan Indian, Chinese, Italian, Mexican & other Continental Cuisines.
 

Medical Care
The school has a well equipped Wellness Centre under the control of a full-time nurse. All cases of injury or illness receive medical attention. Whenever specialized medical aid is required, emergency transport is available to take a student to the nearest hospital.
 

School Uniform
GEMS Akademia International School believes in the importance of a school uniform and students are expected to look smart. Uniforms are available from the school premises.
 

Transport
School transportation is available for pick-up and drop throughout Kolkata and Howrah for Day Boarders. Students are accompanied at all times by trained assistants on-board.
