Kids Rediscover themselves at GEMS International School Two week summer camp ends in the school leaving the kids and parents enthralled
Saturday, 4th June 2011: Keeping in line with its philosophy of nurturing each child’s individual talent; GEMS International School (GIS) organized a ‘Kool Kids Kamp’ at its campus in Palam Vihar. A two – week fun filled, interactive and engaging summer camp for children offered a plethora of activities ranging from Dance / Theatre & Drama / Skating / Basketball / Hockey / Origami & craft / Karate / Music etc. The camp ended with a spectacular dance & music performance by the enthusiastic students which surely left their parents spell bounded.
Complimenting the children’s performance was an interactive session by Punam Kashyap, CEO GEMS International School with all parents and students where she recaptured the moments of the summer camp. With a vast academic experience under her belt, she was also seen tipping the parents on various child - rearing issues. She commented, “It gives me immense pleasure to see such a great response from students and parents for the GIS Summer Camp. This camp was a platform for all children to accentuate their individual talents and I am sure each child is taking a unique experience back home. The school will continue to offer such engaging opportunities in future as well.”
The camp was designed to give the children an opportunity to do constructive learning this summer and had activities for children aged between 3+ to 15 yrs. The school had endeavored to offer unique programmes like ‘Motor Skills Fun based Programme’, ‘Kids Yoga & Fitness’ ‘Improving English & French’ etc. which were quite popular with the enrolled children. ‘Kool Kids Kamp’ received an overwhelming response from students of other schools as well as many got enrolled for this camp at GIS.
All-in-all GIS gave the kids a truly fun-based, interactive and informative learning experience in its summer camp this year!!!!
