Admissions

We are currently accepting applications for grades 1 through 5 only for the school year beginning September 2013.

The Admissions and Accounting offices are open Sunday - Thursday from 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM. No appoinment is necessary.

All applications are reviewed after all documents have been received and the the registration fee of AED500 has been paid. Tours of the two campus buildings are scheduled for Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 9 AM for the Elementary School and 10 AM for the Middle & High School. Dubai American Academy offers an enriched American curriculum with an international perspective for students from KG1 through Grade 12. Graduates earn an accredited American diploma, and have the option of earning the IB Diploma or certificates The curriculum is based on IB and American standards.

Educators recognize that there is a wide range of behavior and performance within any grade or year. The DAA admission process includes academic and developmental assessments to identify those students most likely to benefit from our program. There will always remain some who are more challenged than others. Every teacher is expected to help each child succeed through differentitation of instruction and assessment and attention to the learning styles of students.
