Academic Performance

DAA has an eight year history of helping students to achieve excellent IB results.  From our very first year of offering the IB Diploma program, DAA’s students have scored significantly above the world averages in both individual subjects and overall results.  Our program has grown substantially over the years to include all students who wish to undertake the challenging diploma program.

The IB exam results for the Class of 2011 are evidence of the outstanding results our students enjoy.

  • 73% of the graduating class opted to participate in the full IB diploma program, which is our highest percentage ever.  Our results are particularly impressive given that we allow all interested students to attempt the full diploma.

  • 90% pass rate for the diploma, which will be well above the world average
  • Mean total diploma score: 33
  • DAA students took IB exams in 40 different subjects; in 27 of those subject, our students’ average score was above worldwide averages
