School Transport

School Transport Services LLC (STS) provides high quality bus transportation service for GWA-Dubai. STS maintains exceptional safety standards that strictly adhere to the specifications and regulations laid out by Dubai’s Road Transport Authority (RTA). STS is managed by experienced professionals who have a track record of safely transporting students throughout Dubai. STS works closely with the school’s administration team to ensure that the parents and students get the best service possible. All buses are fitted with a Video Surveillance System, GPS and ID scanners for the purposes of student attendance and safety. STS is the only ISO certified school transport provider and was the winner of both the Dubai Award for Sustainable Transport (2010) and Dubai Quality Appreciation Program (2011).

Current Bus Routes

Included below is a list of our current routes across Dubai catering for students from PreK to Grade 12. STS cannot guarantee that a seat will be available on all routes or for all areas of Dubai. Once an application is submitted, STS will check the routing and availability. If a seat is available, parents will be notified of the timings, bus number, the driver’s details and mobile number.

Pick and Drop Off Times

Morning pick up times vary according to the distance travelled and the number of students on a bus. We aim to minimize the time students spend on the bus while maximizing bus capacity in order to keep costs low.

From Sunday to Wednesday, buses depart from the school at 3:55 p.m. from outside the main reception area. Additional buses are provided at 4:55 p.m. only for students that are registered in an After School Activity on that day. The 4:55 p.m. buses depart from the cafeteria entrance.

There is a bus service for PreK and Kg1 students that dismiss daily at 1:30 p.m. Students that are registered in the After School Care program may use the 3:55 p.m. bus service. We strongly encourage that students new to GWA be brought to school and picked up by their parents during the initial transition period.

Transport Fees

Transport fees are charged for ten months of the academic year, divided in two semesters (September-January & February-June). The bus fee should be paid before the beginning of a semester. If the transport fee is not paid by the 5th day of the first month of the semester’s service, bus service will be stopped until the fee is paid.

Should a student be withdrawn from the bus service, a refund will be issued by rounding up to the nearest full month and a discontinuation charge of AED 100 will be applied.
