Schools critically depend on expert school focused HR advice and polices which are accurate, immediate and responsive.

 

Schools also have the right to expect that their HR advisers will know their school, the needs of the communities it serves and the school’s own priorities for development (ie. School Improvement Plan).

 

Up until now, schools across the county have by-and-large bought back in to a service provided by their Local Authority. On account of cuts and new government policies this may not be possible for much longer. Nevertheless schools’ requirements for timely, responsive HR services will if anything, increase. GEMS HR Services has been established now for these reasons.

 

GEMS HR Services is headed by Nick Jarman who is one of the most experienced Directors of Education and more recently Children’s Services nationally, with a group of HR consultants, all of whom have many years of school-specific experience.

 

Our aim is to provide for schools, a top class, responsive and inexpensive total schools HR service. Not only will we offer all of the HR services which schools depend on, we will offer them at a price which meets the growing restraints on schools’ budgets and the pressures which will accompany the new policy and financial environment.

During the Autumn Term we are inviting schools to consider the offer openly. There will be no “selling” – schools don’t work like this.
