The VGF Ambassadors programme
With more volunteers approaching us to donate their time, energy, and resources to worthy causes all over the world, we’d like to invite you to nominate yourself to become a ‘VGF Ambassador’ and help us with conducting good deeds on the ground, in your country of origin.
In common parlance, an Ambassador is usually a person of importance who represents & espouses the values and goals of the institution that appoints them. We’d like to provide you an opportunity to do the same for VGF.

Role
We would like the network of Ambassadors to identify the ways in which we can further our aims in their country of origin. For example:
- To study & report innovative practices in raising the quality of education in their country, which will help us identify the different ways in which people are trying to bridge the education divide.
- To research and identify NGOs engaged in education within a ten km radius or nearest village / city of where the Ambassador resides in the country. This will help us build a databank of worthy organisations to recognize.
- To conduct subject focused training camps for teachers and volunteers.
- To help elevate the status of teachers who teach in some of the most underprivileged parts of the world.
- To organise an event to promote the importance of female education.
VGF Ambassadors will meet twice a year in Dubai.

| Eligibility & Selection |
|
For every 100 staff from a country, we are looking to recruit one Ambassador. If we receive more applications from a country, for the role, we will shortlist and thereafter appoint an Ambassador based on their application & references.
The role is limited to two, one-year terms per Ambassador.
The role is un-remunerated, and on a voluntary basis. |

to recruit one Parent Ambassador. If we receive
more applications from a country, for the role,
we will shortlist and thereafter appoint an Parent
Ambassador based on their application & references.
