31 May 2013 JCP Trash to Cash

The bi-annual JCP Trash to Cash event held at the College.  An opportunity for the broader College community to sell second hand and new items from either the College car-park or Sports Hall Foyer. 

28 April  2013 JC Talent Show

The annual celebration of talent at Jumeirah College run by the student executive.  Students donated AED 4,000 for VGF.

24 March 2013 Sound of Music

The Annual College Musical - Students performed the Sound of Music to a packed house for 3 consecutive evenings.  Check out the March Newsletter for background news and reviews of the show.  Ticket sales were donated to VGF.

12 March 2013 Year 7 Second Hand Book Sale

The Year 7 Student Council organised and carried out their very own charity event - the Book Sale. Students donated more than 900 second hand books and sold them at the College for AED5 - AED20 depending on the quality and size of the book.  Proceeds were donated to VGF.

20 December 2013 Winter Concert

A traditional Winter Concert with performances by the JC Choir and individual students.  Proceeds from ticket sales donated to VGF.

12 December 2012 Cinderella Panto

A collaboration between KS5 students and JC Staff, Cinderella was full of magical moments. Check out the December Newsletter for more Pantomime coverage.  Ticket sales were donated to VGF.

8 December 2012 Winter Festival - A JCP Event

The biggest event on the Jumeirah College Partnership (JCP) calendar fund-raising calendar.  This year there was something for everyone including craft stalls, student organised games, entertainment and the very popular talent show.  Thanks to all the JCP sponsors particularly; Virgin Radio, TCC, Virgin Atlantic and Drs. Nicolas & Asp.  All money raised during the Winter Festival was donated to VGF.

6 November 2012 USA Election Night

On November 6, as millions of people across every time zone and continent gathered around their TV's and radios, over 50 Year 11 and Sixth Form students convened in the common room to watch the US.  During the evening, students collected donations for VGF.

2 October 2012 Lingo Fest - A Celebration of Language

The JC Lingo Fest took place on Tuesday 2 October.  Students and their families had the opportunity to learn a few basic phrases in all sorts of languages from Japanese to Polish! There was also an opportunity to sample different international food for a small donation which was given to VGF.

September 2012 Non Uniform Day

The first non-uniform day of the academic year and all proceeds were donated to VGF.

Other Charities

Breast Cancer

October is breast cancer awareness month at Jumeirah College.  Students raised money through Bake Sales, various sports competitions, bracelet and badge sales and a pink non- uniform day.
