Best Buddies: Overnight Camp - 2011

On the 18th of November, 2011 a team of Best Buddies pupils from The Millennium School, Dubai accompanied students from the Manzil Centre for Challenged Individuals, for an Overnight Camp at Ain Al Madhab Spring Park, Fujairah.

At 1:30 pm the students boarded the school bus from our school and reached the Manzil School.
From here they began their onward journey to Fujairah with their buddies. On reaching Fujairah, the students unpacked and organized themselves for the evening.

After a quick evening snack break everyone enjoyed a game of Soccer. Various indoor games were organized. A game of cards, Treasure hunt, and Musical chair was played. All the students with their buddies sat in a circle and sang songs, played instruments and percussion. The immense pleasure, with which the buddies organized the games and conducted it, was quite evident. The students had fun running, playing instruments, singing and dancing.

Finally, it was time to hit the bed after a long day. The next day was welcomed with everyone jogging in the park early morning. After breakfast the students packed and left with good memories of the camp.

A group photograph was taken and everyone bid farewell to their buddies.
