National Day Celebration

The 40th National Day of UAE was celebrated with much splendor.

The guests of honour for the programme were Ms Fatima from the RTA, Ms Zulekha – Project manager KHDA and Professor Abdul Qadir Hasan- training expert Dubai.

Mr. Michael Guzder Principal TMS along with Mr. Mohammed Nazief Head of Arabic department and Supervisor warmly welcomed the guests with dates, Kahwa and some oud.

An Exhibition was also held displaying the coins and stamps of UAE.

The programme commenced with the UAE National anthem followed by a recitation from the Holy Quran.

There was a small talk by two of our middle school students on the Founder of UAE Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan.

There was an AV presentation on UAE – Past to present.

It was followed by the foot tapping, Dabkah dance where the students did some graceful moves.

The boys of the middle School sang an Emirati song fluently and with a lot of gusto.

There was a presentation on the seven Emirates and the Symbols of UAE which was very informative.

The Cleopatra dance had the girls swaying smoothly to very enchanting music.

This was followed by a fashion show which showcased the costumes of many Middle Eastern countries and a traditional Emirati dance which had the audience in awe.

Mr. Guzder addressed the gathering and was all praise for the fluency in which the pupils spoke and conducted the entire programme.

The Vote of thanks was given both in Arabic and English.

Thus concluded a morning which was a tribute to a Nation which we are all proud to be a part of.
