PAPERLESS DAY

The Millennium School Dubai Observed 11.11.11 as Paperless Day.This global initiative was organized by the environment agency in Abu Dhabi. All photocopying was stalled for the day and printingwas reduced to minimum.

The school which uses about 8-10 reams of paper per day on an average used only 1 ream on that day.

The senior girls from the Home science department guided by their teacher Mrs.Rajani Manikonda taught thegirls of the middle school to make different craft items likephoto frames,flowers,pen-stands etc. from old newspapers. The grade 8 girls prepared a collage on environment awareness
The Primary Section of the school concluded the drive on Wednesday, 23rd November, 2011 wherein each student contributed towards this good cause by bringing in old newspapers that they used creatively in class. Their innovative and beautiful work of art is showcased and displayed in the classrooms.
