Waxing Eloquent - 2012
The Annual Inter School Elocution competition – Waxing Eloquent was held on Sunday 18th December 2011 at the Millennium School Dubai.
Ten schools made it to the finals out of the 20 schools which appeared in the elimination rounds.
The chief guest for the evening was Mr. Raymi Van Der Spek - the Director of Administration and Strategic Development at the University of Wollongong in Dubai.
Dr. Farooq Wasil – Director Asian Schools was also present along with other Heads of schools.
Mr. Michael Guzder Principal – TMS warmly welcomed everyone present.
The judges for the event were - Dr. Swapna Koshy-Assistant Professor with UOWD, Saba Siddique - Senior Lecturer at Sharjah University and Cezina D’Souza - Director of Blessed Music Learning Centre, Sharjah and Ajman.
Dubai Modern High was the winner of the Rolling trophy.
The evening saw some very eloquent speakers render some excellent pieces.
It was an evening which saw some superlative performances by the boys from all the schools.
