The much awaited Childrens Day was celebrated in the Junior School on the 20th of December 2011. The ultimate aim of all the teachers was to entertain the students and make them feel very special on this wonderful day. The celebration included teachers taking part in a delightful fashion show, dancing to foot tapping music , singing melodious songs and putting all their acting skills to test. One of the show stoppers was when the children were paid a visit by the “Wee People” in an audio visual presentation . A closer inspection revealed that it was indeed their teachers who had masqueraded as elves which tickled the funny bone of the audience and left an everlasting impression on everyone’s mind. The loud round of applause validated that it was surely the showstopper. This spectacular and unique presentation was created by our computer teacher Ms.Uvani Fernando. One could see the Head Primary, Supervisors and teachers enjoying themselves wholeheartedly and putting in their best just to entertain the students and give them a time of their life.The students were amazed to see their teachers in a totally new perspective and enjoyed every moment that made them feel so special.
