CLASS XII CBSE RESULT

 

Our Own English High School, Al Ain (A GEMS School) has excelled itself yet again with a 100% success rate in the results of Class XII i.e. in the All India Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by the CBSE in March 2012. Out of 40 students who had appeared for the examination, 38 passed with first division and the school average is 76.2%.

 
50% pupils obtained distinction in the aggregate (above 75%)
95% pupils obtained First Division in the aggregate (above 60%)

In the Commerce stream, Faiz Abdur Rahman stands first in School with an outstanding performance obtaining an overall aggregate of 94.4% while Sreya Ram stands second with an overall aggregate of 92%

In the Science stream, Tirth Nayan Vasa stand first in school with an overall aggregate of 90.2%. 

Class 10 CBSE Results 2012

Out of 42Candidates who had appeared for the Grade 10 examination, all 42  passed the examination. The School Average is 9.2 CGPA.

 

11 students achieved a perfect CGPA of 10 ( 26.2 %)

20 students got CGPA between 9 and 9.8(47.8%]

74 % students obtained a result above 9 CGPA

14.2% of students got CGPA between 8 and 8.8

9.5% of students got CGPA between 7 and 7.8

2.3% (one student ) got GGPA 6.8

Winners of Inter-school Arabic Competition

Our students participated in the inter-school Arabic competition hosted by Westminister school, dubai and won the 2nd position overall. The team comprised Naureen Ahmed, Leen Larbi, Reem Ibrahim, Joudi Mohammed Kher, Mahmoud Khalid and Ayesha Abubaker.

Samuella Kanake amage of Grade 6 bags the top position in the Jawaharlala Nehru English Declamation Competition.

World Education Games

Mohammed Wasil is adjudged 1st in the Middle East in  11-13 years category for science in the World Eduation Games.

The school boasts two toppers at the IGCSE level - Dana  Kristina Daoud and Melansha Fernando obtained the A* grade in all six subjects. Hadil Sabati appeared for six subjects and obtained 5 A* and 1A. Amr Ibrahim Al  Faki appeared in 8 subjects and obtained 4A* and 4 As.
 
Mohammed ather did us proud when he topped in UAE in Chemistry. He also placed third in the Best across Three Cambridge International AS Levels among other Emiartes.
 
In A Level Ziad Ahmed stood first by acheiving 2A, 1B.

Elizabeth John won the Biotechnology Award for her Outstanding performance in Biology at the All India Senior School Certificate Examination.
 
Ahmed Salah bagged The Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cambridge Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement at the Advanced Subsidiary Level. He was the only recipient of the Award in the male category in the Abu Dhabi zone.
