Dr. Anjuli Murthy
Headmistress

Dr. Anjuli Murthy has a doctorate in Economics and over 20 years of teaching experience at the high school level. She moved to Dubai in 1993 and joined Dubai Modern High School where, over the years, her responsibilities included Head - Department of Economics, Academic Coordinator and Senior Supervisor in the Senior Section. From 2010 she was given the additional responsibility of Asst. Dean of Studies.

Her contribution to education in her various capacities include improvements in Continuous Evaluations, Higher Order Thinking Skills, Pupil Mentoring Programmes, Pupil Tracking and Vertical Integration of Syllabus.
In her leadership roles, Dr. Murthy has conducted workshops with teachers on Class Management, Formative Assessments, Quality of Testing and Evaluation, Time Management, New Approaches in Teaching and Learning and Different Learning Styles.

She spearheaded the the Modern High school for the Dubai Quality Awards in 2007 and has been activelyinvolved in the formulation of the School Self-Evaluations, School Action Plans and School Improvement Plans. Her strength has been her excellent inter-personal skills which enriched the attitudes of teachers, students and parents towards changing trends in wholesome education.
