The Science departments are well equipped with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Home Science laboratories that provide necessary facilities with modern and excellent equipment  for demonstration, experimentation and project work at various levels.The laboratories provide hands-on experience to the students to work effectively enabling them to understand the various facets of Science. 

 

 

 

Mathematics Laboratory:

Although we do not have a distinct and separate lab for practical sessions in Mathematics, in accordance with the CBSE curriculum. Regular lab sessions are incorporated into the curriculum to make the learning of Mathematics interesting and to enhance the analytical and creative skills of the students through research and experimentation.

 

Computer Laboratories  : 

 

Information and Communication Technology is an integral part of the curriculum at OOIS, from Grade 1 onwards. ICT is introduced as a tool to enrich the knowledge of the students, problem solving skills and communication. Our ICT labs with internet access provide ample opportunities for students to acquire mastery in ICT skills. Our ICT labs are well equipped with the latest in the field of education in Schools, like the Smart Board.

 

Audio Visual Facilities:

Video tapes, audio cassettes, multi-media, over- head projectors and educational CD-ROMs are available in the well equipped multi-media centre to increase effectiveness and supplement class room teaching.

 

 

Play Ground :  

Students are encouraged to work and play in groups or teams. Besides Foot Ball, Cricket, Basket Ball and Throw Ball, a variety of other athletic field sports provide our students with excellent opportunities to develop their sporting talents.

 

Canteen:

The school offers a wide range of healthy snacks and beverages at affordable prices. Strict hygienic standards are maintained at all times. The children are encouraged to develop healthy eating habits.

 

 

Books Store:

 

The school houses a well–stocked store, which offers textbooks, notebooks, uniforms and a range of miscellaneousitems at special prices. School uniforms as prescribed int he correct shade of colour and in quality material are  available at the supply store for uniforms. Parents are

encouraged to use this facility to maintain uniformity.

Medical Facilities:

The school has a well equipped Clinic, manned by a qualified doctor and 3 nurses who take care of the health and well being of our students. Regular medical examinations are conducted. All cases of injury or illness receive immediate medical attention.

Lost and Found Section:

Articles lost and found in the school campus are safely stored in the Lost and Found Section of each department. If not collected,the articles will be transferred to the common Lost and Found Section.
