The sixth UNSC was hosted by the School Council of Our Own Indian School, Dubai, was held on Saturday, October 29, 2011. Fourteen schools from the U.A.E. and other GCC countries participated in the competition. Mr. Fransisco Javier Alonso Escobar , Consul General, Mexico declared the session open. Mr. Ahmed Fadil Shamsuddin Consul General Malaysia , Mr. Fransisco Javier Alonso Escobar, Consul General, Mexico and Mr. Shiraz Gidwani, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai-based Iktara World servicing Hospitality, Media and Beyond addressed the students. Mr. William Wellesly, Group Chief Operating Officer, GEMS Education  graced the afternoon session  as the Chief Guest and gave away the prizes in various categories and inspired the delegates with his speech.
