Curriculum Information

The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy has a unique educational program. This program combines the rich history, culture, and traditions represented in the curriculum of the United Arab Emirates, with an American academic curriculum. Arabic Studies, Islamic Studies, Social Studies, and History & Civics are taught in the Arabic language, in accordance with the specifications of the UAE Ministry of Education.  
 
The core subjects of Language Arts (English), Mathematics, Science, and a number of elective subjects are taught in English in accordance with American curriculum standards. The curriculum has been prepared with considerable effort and input from many distinguished international educators, including the UAE.

Our teachers are experienced in using a variety of teaching methods to ensure that students can meet the academic requirements of the curriculum. Students develop problem solving skills working independently and collaboratively in groups. This combined academic curriculum has been designed to ensure that critical and creative thinking, as well as communication skills, are developed in an environment that is caring, nurturing, and conducive to each individual student. Students are empowered to take an active role in their own learning. Academic excellence, leadership, and personal growth are the products of learning at The Sheikh Zayed Private Academy.
