Message from the CEO & Principal
After a very successful first year we are excited by the prospect of building upon our many achievements and going onto to become an outstanding school where all students can begin to realise their full potential. GEMS Wellington Academy has excellent facilities that are accompanied by high quality teaching and learning, both within and beyond the classroom. Our curriculum is broad and balanced and is firmly based upon the National Curriculum for England. We offer school places from Foundation 1 up to Year 10. As the Academy grows over the next two years will be offering a sixth form facility. Our focus at GEMS Wellington Academy is always on the quality of teaching and learning and the enrichment of our curriculum, through a range of activities and experiences that will appeal to all students. Our highly qualified teaching staff are fully committed to providing rich learning opportunities that will enable your son or daughter to make outstanding academic progress, as well as become responsible citizens fully prepared to take their next steps in their careers. September 2012 saw the opening of additional facilities and additional classrooms to the Academy that further enriched our student’s educational experiences. With the new facilities, we welcomed further specialist teachers mainly from the United Kingdom, who brought even greater depth to our well established and stimulating curriculum. A high priority at GEMS Wellington Academy is placed upon the GEMS four core values of Leadership, Universal Values, Forward Thinking and World Citizenship. We look to develop student’s appreciation and application of these values in a wide range of purposeful contexts. I hope you find our website informative.
