School Transport
GEMS Wellington Academy – Silicon Oasis aims to provide a high quality transportation service. Our air-conditioned buses, fitted with seat belts in all seats in operation. Each bus has a driver and conductor. Each bus has a mobile phone on board to enable contact with parents in case of any delays. CCTV is installed in all buses.
Although a complete 'door to door' service can't be guaranteed our school bus will collect and drop students as close as possible to their residences.

Transport fee is charged for ten months in an academic year, divided in three terms. The fee should be paid before the beginning of a term. Full payment for each term should be done irrespective of the number of working days. If the transport fee is not paid by the 5th of the first month of the term service will not be available from the next day.
Transport use can be discontinued only at the end of a term. No refund shall be made for the unexpired portion of the term, in case of withdrawal from transport facility. A ‘service charge’ of AED 100/- will be applicable to those who discontinue transport service for any reason other than discontinuation at the end of the academic year. This charge will also be applicable for return of ‘Post Dated Cheques’.
The Customer Care Executive of STS (cce-gwadso@stss.ae) is part of the school administration team. Acts as Transport Manager and acts as the first contact for parents.
Payment Options:
- Online Payment through the website www.stss.ae
- Cash / Credit Card (Master / Visa) payment at the STS counter in the school
- Cheque in favour of ‘School Transport Services LLC’ at the STS counter in the school
- Standing Order for Auto Debit of Transport Fees
There shall be a charge of 25AED in case of a dishonoured cheque. Only cash / credit card payments will be accepted in case of dishonoured of cheques.
