Natasha Ogilvie - Year 1 Teacher

I am from Edinburgh, Scotland and looking forward to joining Wellington in September 2011.

This will be my 3rd year in Dubai having just completed two years at another international school. I love living in Dubai as I find it exciting, intriguing and opens up a window of opportunities. Prior to this, I spent two years teaching in Edinburgh. I completed my undergraduate degree in Business Management before embarking on my PGDE at The University of Strathclyde.

I believe teachers play a key role in a child’s life, giving me the ambition to become a successful teacher. I cannot wait to inspire children at Wellington with a love of learning. I am very excited to take on this vibrant new challenge and look forward to joining the Year 1 team. My aim is to create the best possible atmosphere and learning environment promoting and encouraging opportunities for every child in my care to achieve their very best potential.

In addition to teaching, my hobbies include; bootcamp fitness classes, kickboxing, travelling and of course shopping!
