Examination Results 2012 As GEMS Wellington International School enters its 8th year it is once again able to celebrate continued and improved examination results. This level of school improvement is never achieved single handily; at its heart rests a highly effective partnership between home and school. International Baccalaureate GEMS Wellington International School is thrilled to announce its IB results for 2012 which demonstrate a significant improvement on 2011. 80% of our students passed the IB Diploma. These results show that GEMS Wellington International School has achieved results 2% above the World IB Averages. We were also delighted to announce that 100% of our students passed the IB Diploma Courses programme. Our congratulations and special mention is given to particular students who include:

Congratulations to class of 2012.” Kathryn Dyche-Nichols, Head of Year 13 says: “These results are a reflection of all the hard work and rigour of the dedicated Wellington team, students and parents.” GCSE This year’s GCSE results were excellent with 93% or our students achieving 5 x A* - C including English and Maths. These results constitute a 13 % increase from 2011 and are the best ever achieved at Wellington. In particular we congratulate the following students on their achievements at GCSE:
Early Entry Examination Results Students’ learning is accelerated to allow examinations to be taken early particularly in Maths, Science and languages. These students have achieved outstanding results. Year 10 AQA Science Results Congratulations to all our Year 10 students who have completed their first Science GCSE. 80% of our students achieved A* - C grades and 58% of these achieved either A* / A grades. This new course has a demanding coursework element. 79% of our Science students achieved A* - C grades and 49% of these students either A* / A grades in their coursework. We are looking forward to challenging these students even further and celebrating their final results in August 2013. |
