School Trips

Our school trips are stimulating ways to bring classroom learning to life. Children enjoy nature trips, art and craft events and visits to places of interest. Our annual residential study visit to France for Years IV and VII, included in the school’s fees, is a real highlight. Children in these years also participate in outdoor pursuit weekends, where activities such as windsurfing and abseiling enhance their resourcefulness and teamwork.

We also organise outdoor weekend activities, led by qualified and experienced instructors. They include:

  • camping
  • horse-riding
  • orienteering
  • canoeing
  • wind surfing
  • raft building
  • archery
  • rock climbing
  • abseiling
  • mountain biking
  • dry slope skiing

These activities provide a sense of adventure, which the children enjoy. They also increase personal initiative, resourcefulness, confidence, and encourage team-working.
