Extra Curricular Activities
While our excellent academic results are very important we believe children should have opportunities to excel at a wide variety of activities. We provide a kaleidoscope of extra-curricular activities and school events which support our rich and varied education programmes.
We encourage the children to take part in individual challenges ranging from chess, sport and musical grading, and to compete in national competitions such as Primary Maths Challenge, poetry writing, and swimming galas. Pupils also have many opportunities to be part of a team in various sporting events, as well as drama productions, and public speaking.
We actively encourage exploration, innovative problem solving, independent expression and decision-making. As a result, pupils become informed, confident and active learners with a strong sense of self, prepared for their future.
We are lucky enough to have a wide range of extra curricular activities on offer, many of which fill up within the first day or two of the forms going out!
We also have range of clubs at lunchtimes and at the end of each day for pupils in all years.
The children often perform in public with our choir, orchestra or individually. They can learn individual instruments during and after school.
Keep an eye on our newsletters for a great way to see what really goes on!
