For Parents

Parents play an active and important role in the life of the school, and their involvement is central to the teaching and learning process. 

We are very proud of our close links with parents, and our Parent Teacher Association embodies this.

We keep parents fully up-dated about their child’s progress through formal and informal methods. Children have individual written reports and there are formal one-to-one parent consultations during the year. Our weekly newsletter is also great source of information. 

We hold weekly coffee mornings for parents in different year groups where they meet form teachers and senior staff. Probably best of all are the daily informal opportunities parents have to meet staff in the mornings and afternoons. Our staff will always be available for a quick chat at these times and meetings can be scheduled with a few days’ notice for more lengthy discussions.
