Sherfield School is a relatively new school in its current form, and was established in 2004 to offer an outstanding education to children from 3 months to 18 years. Sherfield is a day and boarding school that allows pupils to learn in a warm and friendly atmosphere in the stunning surroundings of Sherfield Manor.
The school, with it’s leafy, spacious grounds is situated in the quiet village of Sherfield-on-Loddon, between Basingstoke and Reading. The building itself was renamed Sherfield Manor in 1897, and includes buildings which date back to the twelfth century.
Whilst the school’s buildings might be old, the approach we take to delivering a first class education is extremely modern. We maintain the broadest possible curriculum at year nine to introduce all our students to the full range of subjects available.
This is refined at GCSE, AS, and A Level to allow every student to play to their particular strengths, ensuring a first class education which allows students to gain access to prestigious universities and colleges, both in the UK and abroad.
Whilst academic excellence is the primary goal of the Sherfield School, we are also committed to helping children develop into lifelong learners and responsible, highly valued members of the global community.
We make the most of our exceptional range of facilities to offer the highest standard of sports tuition in traditional sports like football, cricket and rugby, whilst also running partnership programmes with nationally recognised providers of equestrianism, fencing, flying, golf, gymnastics, performing arts, and many more.
