Across the GEMS network of schools, fully 2,800 students currently receive free and/or subsidized schooling annually.  In addition to these scholarships, the Sheikha Fatima Award for Excellence provides a full scholarship to outstanding students every year.

Parent associations and student councils also contribute to community outreach programmes both locally and globally.
