Founded in 1914, Moor Allerton is a co-educational day school catering for up to 160 children aged between 3 and 11 years in a refurbished Victorian property in Didsbury. This will change to 250+ as the school develops the new site.
Moor Allerton Preparatory School has long enjoyed reputation for achieving academic success, whilst encouraging a spirit of inquisitiveness and creativity, it has successfully prepared pupils for entrance to Independent Day Schools in the South Manchester area. Small classes, individual attention, sound preparation and the happy but hardworking atmosphere for which the school is well known - contribute to the excellent results achieved in entrance examinations.
