Our Own English High School

Fujairah, United Arab Emirates

Established in 1988, the Our Own English High School – Fujairah, has gone on to become the very best the east coast of the UAE has to offer, teaching children from kindergarten through to grade 12.

Fujairah is unlike any other emirate of the UAE, in that unlike the desert locations of Dubai and Abu Dhabi, it is almost totally mountainous. Despite the terrain, Our Own English High School – Fujairah, has become a truly international community, with 3,100 students and 150 staff members.

To reflect the international outlook of this private school in Fujairah, we offer our students two choices of curriculum. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, which prepares students for the All India Secondary School Examination at grade 10, and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination at grade 12.

We are also affiliated with the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate, preparing our students for the IGCSE and the University of Cambridge International Examinations at grade 11. This framework offers a range of experiences to help our students become passionate life long learners and responsible, confident and highly valued members of the global community.

The school’s facilities include a well stocked library, state-of-the-art science labs for chemistry, biology and physics, two large computer suites, a covered main stage for cultural programmes and functions, and a great range of sporting facilities.

Along with plenty of creative, musical and artistic options to uncover your child’s passions, this international school also offers evening games, a routine activity during the cooler months, and afternoon activities for students at grade 4 and above. Sporting activities include cricket, football, tennis, basketball and more.
