The Westminster School-Dubai

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

A very warm welcome to The Westminster School - Dubai, a modern foundation stage to year 13 school that delivers an outstanding British curriculum education to students from around the world.

Since its inauguration in 1995, the Westminster School has laid the foundations for thousands of students from a diverse range of backgrounds to pursue further education and follow professional career paths that are particularly suited to their talents and interests.

We place a strong emphasis on creating lifelong learners, and develop the personal qualities our students need to become responsible and highly valued members of the global society.

Located in Ghusais, Dubai, we reflect the international standing of our school by following the National Curriculum of England. This prepares our students for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations at the end of year 11, and the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) Level examinations and A Level examinations in years 12 and 13. This prepares our students for entry into some of the world’s most prestigious universities and colleges.

The academic successes of our students speak for themselves, but classroom achievements are by no means our sole focus. Our private school offers a wide range of creative, musical and sporting activities for all our students to enjoy.

As well as regular field trips, cultural events and environmental and social projects, our students can discover the thrill of friendly competition, both individually and as a team in our inter-house competitions. We also offer specialist arts, crafts and drama clubs along with indoor and outdoor sports like basketball, cricket, badminton and table tennis.
