GEMS Winchester School, Dubai temporary relocation

Starting September 2020, GEMS Winchester School, Dubai will temporarily relocate to the campus of GEMS Heritage Indian School

GEMS Winchester School, Dubai (WSD) has been faithfully serving its community of students, parents and staff since 2012. During this period, WSD has looked to enrich the quality of education and opportunities for its students.

In order to facilitate the very best in learning environments for the students of WSD, the school has been working over the summer to find an alternative campus that meets the safety and facility requirements of all its learners.

Starting September 2020, GEMS Winchester School, Dubai will temporarily relocate to the campus of GEMS Heritage Indian School. This purpose-built campus, conveniently located in Dubailand along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, has been designed to inspire students and teachers alike.

The new school campus offers a range of sports, performing arts, culture, science and technology facilities, including expansive outdoor sports grounds and Primary and Secondary sports halls. In addition, students and staff will benefit from larger classrooms, indoor and outdoor learning space, dedicated bus and parent parking, a working stage and music facilities, multiple science labs, and much more.

The WSD team are working around the clock to ensure everything is ready to safely welcome the school community at the start of the new academic year to the new campus, ensuring they return to an environment that meets the highest health and safety standards.

The campus will remain a shared premise with a small number of GEMS Heritage Indian School students on site until April 2021, after which WSD will solely occupy the site. Any families who choose to transfer schools will be eligible for a refund as per KHDA guidance.
