A very warm welcome to GEMS Winchester School - Dubai, a modern international school that offers an outstanding British curriculum education to children from foundation stage to year 13.
Established in 2003, this spacious, elegant school near Discovery Gardens, Dubai provides affordable, high quality education to children from around the world. Located in the heart of the residential community ‘The Gardens’, in Jebel Ali Village, Dubai, this unique school comprises domes, archways, pyramids and high ceilings to create a vibrant and inspiring multicultural setting.
To reflect the international standing of our school, we teach the National Curriculum for England, a broad and balanced curriculum currently taught in over 150 countries around the world.
In years 1 to 9, students progress through the curriculum to develop their skills and competencies. In years 10 and 11 they choose their subjects and prepare for the IGCSE examinations. In year 12 and 13, they take AS and A Level examinations, which prepare our students for further education in prestigious colleges and universities around the world.
This international school consists of two adjacent buildings, one for secondary students and one for our younger learners at primary level. Both buildings boast an outstanding range of facilities, including spacious classrooms with Promethean interactive whiteboards; a multi-purpose auditorium for indoor games and musical or theatrical endeavours; a large sport field for outdoor sports; music and art rooms; state-of-the-art science laboratories; six computer labs with multimedia capabilities; a well-stocked library; and indoor and covered play areas for all our students to enjoy.
