A very warm welcome to the GEMS Wellington International School – Dubai, a modern but well established private school that provides an exceptional standard of education to children from around the world.
We teach children from foundation stage all the way through to year 13. There are two programmes of study our students can follow, either the National Curriculum of England, which offers a broad and balanced education recognised around the world, or the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme.
The IB is split into three programmes: the Primary Years Programme for students aged 3 to 11; the Middle Years Programme for students aged 11 to 16; and the Diploma Programme, which is recognised internationally as a qualification for entrance into further education.
This international school is situated in the Al Sufouh area of Dubai, in the UAE, and benefits from state-of-the-art facilities and resources spread over a friendly, welcoming and beautifully verdant campus.
Of course, extra-curricular activities are a huge part of school life here at GEMS Wellington International School. We make sure there’s something for every student to enjoy, whether it’s team sports such as rugby, football, cricket, volleyball and netball, or individual sporting pursuits like swimming, tennis, climbing, dancing and athletics.
For those that prefer their activities a little more serene, we have plenty for you too! Children can find their voice in the school choirs, play a musical instrument in the orchestra, get creative in the art department, or express themselves theatrically in the school’s regular plays and musicals.
