GEMS Education enters strategic partnership with London College of Fashion, UAL

The collaboration aims to explore collaborative opportunities within the creative education with the shared ambition to provide students with industry-aligned creative skills, mentorship, and future ready skill set.

GEMS Education has entered a strategic partnership with London College of Fashion (LCF), University of the Arts London (UAL), marking a significant milestone in the evolution of creative education in the region. Partnering with London College of Fashion brings the academic expertise of one of the world’s most respected fashion institutions into the UAE. Renowned for its academic rigour, research-led approach, and deep integration with the creative industries, LCF brings internationally benchmarked standards in fashion education. As part of the University of the Arts London, LCF is known for its focus on fashion education across design, business and technology, and its close links with industry, providing students with learning that reflects real-world creative practice.

This collaboration brings together GEMS’ scale, educational leadership and access to diverse learner communities with LCF’s academic heritage, industry engagement, and creative credibility to deliver a contemporary and experiential approach to fashion education, across a broad spectrum of creative disciplines. By combining hands-on creative practice with commercial and industry-aligned learning, the partnership aims to prepare students for higher education, professional careers, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the creative sector, bridging the gap between traditional learning and real-world aplication.

As part of the initial phase of the collaboration, GEMS and LCF will explore opportunities to introduce short, specialist learning experiences, with further details to be announced in due course.

أعلنت مجموعة جيمس للتعليم عن إبرام شراكة استراتيجية مع كلية لندن للأزياء، التابعة لجامعة لندن للفنون، في خطوة نوعية تمثل محطة محورية في تطور التعليم الإبداعي في المنطقة.

ويتيح التعاون مع كلية لندن للأزياء استقدام الخبرات الأكاديمية لإحدى أكثر المؤسسات العالمية تميزاً في مجال تعليم الأزياء إلى دولة الإمارات. وتُعرف الكلية بصرامتها الأكاديمية ونهجها القائم على البحث العلمي، واندماجها العميق مع الصناعات الإبداعية، حيث تقدم معايير تعليمية عالمية في مجال الأزياء. وبصفتها جزءاً من جامعة لندن للفنون، تركز الكلية على تعليم الأزياء عبر مجالات التصميم وإدارة الأعمال والتكنولوجيا، إلى جانب ارتباطها الوثيق بالقطاع، بما يوفر للطلاب تجارب تعليمية تعكس الممارسة الإبداعية الواقعية.

وتجمع هذه الشراكة بين الحضور الواسع والريادة التعليمية لمجموعة جيمس للتعليم، وتراث كلية لندن للأزياء الأكاديمي العريق، وتفاعلها مع القطاع، ومصداقيتها الإبداعية، لتقديم نهج معاصر وتجريبي في تعليم الأزياء عبر طيف واسع من التخصصات الإبداعية. ومن خلال دمج كل من الإبداع العملي والتعليم التجاري المتوافق مع متطلبات القطاع، تهدف الشراكة إلى إعداد الطلاب للالتحاق بالتعليم العالي، وبناء مسارات مهنية احترافية، واستكشاف فرص ريادة الأعمال في القطاع الإبداعي، بما يردم الفجوة بين التعليم التقليدي والتطبيق العملي في العالم الحقيقي.

وفي تعليقه على هذه الشراكة، قال دينو فاركي، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة جيمس للتعليم: "تتمثل رؤيتنا طويلة الأمد في جيمس للتعليم في إعداد طلابنا ليس فقط للالتحاق بالجامعات، بل أيضاً لتحقيق النجاح في قطاعات ووظائف المستقبل. وتتيح لنا شراكتنا مع كلية لندن للأزياء استقدام أفضل الخبرات الإبداعية العالمية إلى منظومة التعليم في دولة الإمارات. ونسعى معاً إلى تزويد الطلاب بتجارب تعليمية تتسم بالملاءمة وترتكز على التطبيق العملي الواقعي، بما يؤهلهم لمسارات التعليم العالي والمسارات المهنية في الصناعات الإبداعية".

من جهته، قال شابير أسلم، مدير إدارة الشراكات الدولية في كلية لندن للأزياء: " تمثل شراكتنا مع مجموعة جيمس للتعليم خطوة مهمة في إطار جهودنا لتوسيع فلسفتنا التعليمية في المنطقة. ويمثل هذا التعاون أول شراكة أكاديمية رسمية لنا في الإمارات العربية المتحدة، كما أنها تتيح لنا العمل عن كثب لتطوير تجربة تعليمية مصممة خصيصاً، تجمع بين العمق الأكاديمي والارتباط الوثيق بمتطلبات القطاع، مع الاستجابة لاحتياجات الطلاب والاقتصاد الإبداعي الأوسع".

وكجزء من المرحلة الأولى من هذا التعاون، سيعمل كل من جيمس للتعليم وكلية لندن للأزياء على استكشاف فرص لإطلاق برامج تعليمية قصيرة ومتخصصة، على أن يتم الإعلان عن مزيد من التفاصيل في الوقت المناسب.
