Strong A-level and BTEC results highlight student success across GEMS Education

With 39% A*- A, while 72% of BTEC students awarded Distinction or above

• 2,388 students sat 6,312 A-level examinations across 22 GEMS schools
• 39% of entries awarded A*-A, while 67% achieved A*-B
• BTEC students continued to perform strongly, with 46% achieving the highest possible grade

Students across GEMS Education's British curriculum schools have delivered another year of exceptional A-level and BTEC results, reinforcing the strength of the group's academic and vocational pathways and the dedication of students, educators, and families.

A-level results:

This year, a total of 2,388 students sat 6,312 A-level examinations across 22 GEMS schools in the UAE and Qatar, with more than one-third (39%) entries achieving A*-A – an exceptional level of top-grade attainment – and an impressive 67% awarded A*-B. These results demonstrate consistently high academic standards and strong performance achieved by GEMS students across the network.

BTEC Level 3 results:

Students following the BTEC Level 3 pathway continued to achieve outstanding results, with 564 learners completing the qualification this year. Almost half (46%) achieved the highest possible Distinction Star grade (D*), while more than 7 in 10 learners (72%) achieved Distinction Star or Distinction. With an exceptional overall pass rate of 99.8% and continued year-on-year improvement, the results demonstrate the growing strength and success of GEMS Education's career-focused pathways.

This year's cohort has secured offers at many of the world's leading universities, including Imperial College of London, University of Toronto, Kings College London, University of Bath, University of Manchester, University of Sydney, among others.

Students will now pursue degrees across a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, engineering, economics, law, computer science, business and management, architecture, and the creative arts.

Outstanding performances were recorded across the GEMS network, with several schools reporting improvements in top-grade attainment and overall outcomes.

Among this year's strongest-performing schools were:

• Jumeirah College – 67% of entries awarded A*-A
• GEMS Wellington Academy, Al Khail – 86% of entries awarded A*-B
• GEMS Metropole School, Motor City – 84% of entries awarded A*-B
• GEMS Al Barsha National School – 100% of entries awarded A*-C

Several schools also celebrated record performances, year-on-year improvements in A*- A attainment, and outstanding subject-level achievements across STEM, humanities, languages, and the arts.

The continued strength of outcomes across both qualifications reflects GEMS Education's commitment to ensuring every learner can pursue the pathway that best matches their talents, aspirations, and future ambitions.

حقق طلاب مدارس جيمس للتعليم التي تقدم المنهاج البريطاني عاماً جديداً من الأداء الأكاديمي المتميز في امتحانات A-level وBTEC، بما يعكس قوة المسارات الأكاديمية والمهنية التي توفرها المجموعة، ويؤكد تفاني الطلاب والمعلمين وأولياء الأمور في مختلف مدارس جيمس للتعليم.

نتائج A-level

خاض هذا العام 2,388 طالباً وطالبة 6,312 امتحان المستوى المتقدم (A-level) في 22 من مدارس جيمس في كلٍّ من دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة وقطر، حيث حصل 39% من المواد الامتحانية على درجات A*-A، و67% على درجات A*-B. وتعكس هذه النتائج المستوى الأكاديمي المرتفع والأداء المتميز الذي يواصل طلاب جيمس تحقيقه في مختلف مدارس المجموعة.

نتائج BTEC Level 3

واصل الطلاب الملتحقون بمسار BTEC Level 3 تحقيق أداء متميز، حيث أكمل 564 طالباً وطالبة المؤهل هذا العام. وحقق 46% منهم أعلى تقدير ممكن، وهو Distinction Star (D*)، فيما حقق أكثر من 7 من كل 10 طلاب (72%) تقدير Distinction Star أو Distinction.

ومع تسجيل نسبة نجاح إجمالية استثنائية بلغت 99.8% واستمرار التحسن عاماً بعد عام، تؤكد هذه النتائج تنامي قوة ونجاح المسارات التعليمية التي تركز على إعداد الطلاب لمسيرتهم المهنية.

وفي تعليقه على هذه النتائج، قال دينو فاركي، الرئيس التنفيذي لمجموعة جيمس للتعليم: "كان هذا عاماً استثنائياً آخر لطلابنا في مساري A-level وBTEC، وتؤكد هذه النتائج ما يتحلى به طلابنا من طموح وإصرار ومرونة في مواجهة التحديات. لقد بذلوا جهوداً كبيرة لتحقيق أهدافهم، وكان إلى جانبهم طوال هذه الرحلة معلمون متميزون وأولياء أمور قدموا لهم كل الدعم والتشجيع. ولا تقتصر أهمية هذه النتائج على الدرجات التي حققها الطلاب، بل نفخر أيضاً بما اكتسبوه من ثقة بالنفس وشخصية قوية وقدرة على مواجهة التحديات، وهي مقومات ستساعدهم على الاستفادة من الفرص التي تنتظرهم في المستقبل. ولطالما آمنت جيمس بأن النجاح الأكاديمي يجب أن يسير جنباً إلى جنب مع إعداد الطلاب للحياة بعد المدرسة. ونحن فخورون بكل طالب وطالبة، وممتنون لمعلمينا وأولياء الأمور على توجيههم ودعمهم وتشجيعهم المتواصل، الذي كان له دور أساسي في تحقيق هذه النتائج المتميزة".

بدورها، قالت ليزا كراوسبي OBE، الرئيس التنفيذي للتعليم في مجموعة جيمس للتعليم: "وراء كل نتيجة متميزة قصة من الجهد والمثابرة والإيمان بالقدرات. وأنا فخورة جداً بطلابنا، ليس فقط لما حققوه، وإنما أيضا ًلما أظهروه من عزيمة وطموح وإصرار طوال رحلتهم. وتجسد هذه الإنجازات ما يبذله معلمونا من جهود، وما تقدمه أسر طلابنا من دعم وتشجيع، إلى جانب ثقافة الطموح والتوقعات العالية التي نحرص على ترسيخها في مدارسنا. والأهم من ذلك، أنها تؤكد لنا الإمكانات الاستثنائية التي يمتلكها كل شاب عندما يجد من يؤمن به ويدعمه ويحفزه على تقديم أفضل ما لديه. وأتوجه بأحر التهاني إلى كل طالب ومعلم وولي أمر أسهم في تحقيق هذه النتائج".

وحصل طلاب دفعة هذا العام على عروض قبول من العديد من بعض أبرز الجامعات العالمية، مثل إمبريال كوليدج لندن، وجامعة تورنتو، وكينغز كوليدج لندن، وجامعة باث، وجامعة مانشستر، وجامعة سيدني، إلى جانب جامعات أخرى.

وسيتابع الطلاب دراسة تخصصات متنوعة تشمل الطب والهندسة والاقتصاد والقانون وعلوم الحاسوب وإدارة الأعمال والهندسة المعمارية والفنون الإبداعية.

أبرز نتائج المدارس

تم تسجيل نتائج متميزة في مختلف مدارس جيمس للتعليم، مع تحقيق عدد من المدارس تحسناً في معدلات الحصول على الدرجات العليا والنتائج الإجمالية.

ومن بين المدارس الأعلى أداءً هذا العام:

·       كلية جميرا: حصل 67% من المواد الامتحانية على درجات A*-A

·       أكاديمية جيمس ولينغتون – الخيل: حصل 86% من المواد الامتحانية على درجات A*-B

·       مدرسة جيمس متروبول – موتور سيتي: حصل 84% من المواد الامتحانية على درجات A*-B

·       مدرسة جيمس الوطنية – البرشاء: حصل 100% من المواد الامتحانية على درجات A*-C

كما احتفلت عدة مدارس بتحقيق نتائج قياسية، وتحسن سنوي في معدلات الحصول على درجة A*-A، إلى جانب إنجازات متميزة على مستوى المواد الدراسية في مجالات العلوم والتكنولوجيا والهندسة والرياضيات (STEM)، والعلوم الإنسانية، واللغات، والفنون.

وتعكس قوة النتائج المستمرة في كلا المؤهلين التزام جيمس للتعليم بضمان حصول كل متعلم على المسار التعليمي الذي يتناسب على أفضل نحو مع مواهبه وطموحاته وتطلعاته المستقبلية.
